Kit Includes the Following:
4 White Sage Bundles
 
The practice of smoke cleansing prior to meditation, ritual or spiritual practice moves undesired/negative energy from you, your thoughts, and your space.  
Begin by setting your intention for the desired outcome.  Open a window(s) and/or door(s) to ensure the energy you intend to move can exit easily.  Hold your bundle or palo-santo wood over a fire-proof shell or bowl.  Pour a bit of sand in the bottom of the shell or bowl to rest your bundle when you have completed your practice.
 
Using a candle (or other fire source), ignite the end of the bundle or palo-santo wood furthest from your hand.  Let the fire kindle the entire end of the bundle/palo-santo wood. Blow out the flame gently, leaving the embers glowing.
Allow the smoke from the bundle to waft, with your feather, fan the smoke over and around your body to cleanse yourself then move on to another person or space you intend to cleanse.  
 
When cleansing a large space, take your time to fan the smoke into corners and dark places where negativity might linger.
Re-ignite your bundle as needed.
 
After you have finished cleansing and/or blessing your space, extinguish your bundle by placing the burning end into the sand you have poured into your fire-proof vessel.
Burning bundles/wood should never be left unattended.

When practiced with reverence and gratitude smoke cleansing is a meaningful ceremony with deep traditional roots.
